Stiletto Brass Quintet CD

$15.00

Stiletto Brass Quintet, formed in 2010, has exploded onto the scene with rousing ovations at the International Trumpet Guild Conference, National Trumpet Competition, the Great American Brass Band Festival and in performance in Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Oregon. Recently, Stiletto Brass Quintet soloed, along with Doc Severinsen, with the Heartland Festival Orchestra. April 2013 saw the release of their first cd “Stiletto Brass Quintet with guest artist Doc Severinsen.” They were also featured in the August 2012 international brass magazine The Brass Herald. This “highly stylized” ensemble reflects timely changes in the music scene with repertoire consisting of the most powerful compositions of varied genre from popular styles to the avant-garde, written by the leading composers of our time. These are five highly accomplished women from the U.S. with careers spanning the fields of orchestral, wind band and brass chamber music.

Our concerts, offering virtuosic playing with a high degree of emotion, cover a range from Baroque to Gershwin, the Blues, to contemporary. They are fun, serious, heart-warming. Our audiences have a great time!
